Agfolks came to Network Handlers needing a custom ecommerce marketplace.
They wanted their own industry marketplace targeted to farmers and suppliers of farming equipment. Their mission, to work with suppliers to sell directly from the factory to the farmer at discount prices. Farmers get the equipment they need at the direct pricing they want while the Manufacturer regains the sale.
Network Handlers directive was to build a mobile-responsive and user-friendly marketplace that could facilitate online orders for both their farmers, and for suppliers to sell their products.
With their extensive product selection and complexities of shipping and taxes, Agfolks was challenged with the API integrations and customizations that they needed.
Network Handlers designed a multi-level user and hierarchical system for different user types to purchase, sell and organize their products according to Agfolks needs.
The Unishippers and Avalara integrations transformed the usability of their product catalogue, allowing products to be browsed and purchased using unique parameters for their industry. Customers and suppliers easily find products online, suppliers increasing sales and saving customers and suppliers time and money.
These integrations were key in the goal for this target market. All customers and sellers employees had access to the full business benefits of – including sales, taxes/tax exempt, and shipping information. This integration protects the marketing from unnecessary complexity for taxes and shipping.
